Namaaaste Goat Yoga’s Hooves and Heroes program was created to show gratitude to our brave first responders, who, each day, protect and serve our great country.
The experiences of trauma, first responders are involved in, leave a permanent impact. The emotional and psychological challenges they face are often difficult to work through and overcome. These traumas often create a ripple effect where first responders' families become affected as well. Our Hooves and Heroes program hopes to show appreciation for America's heroes and their loved ones.
Namaaaste Goat Yoga’s Hooves and Heroes uses the purpose of yoga for one to become aware of their own nature by achieving good health, inner peace and harmony. The aim of interacting with our goats and participating in yoga is to help minimize anxiety, stress, and depression. Studies have shown animal interaction with humans lowers stress levels and blood pressure.
Each month a first responder unit will be selected and given a private Namaaaste Goat Yoga session. Eligible first responder units will be defined as police/fire departments and emergency service units in our service area.
The importance of keeping our country strong by taking care of those who serve it is integral to our communities. It is our great privilege to do our part by giving back to first responders and their families who serve alongside them.
